Honda Dream 50 with an FCR Carb, Moriwaki pipes, CB250RS shocks, and a CBR250RR tachometer (along with some other minor stuff like speedometer delete, airbox delete, rear fender delete, battery delete, smaller signals and brake light, etc. etc.).
I brought most all of the parts back with me except the frame (since it was too new to import). Someday. I’m going to build a CB350F/CB400F that looks exactly like this. Essentially, CB350/400 frame and engine, Dream suspension, wheels, brakes, seat, tank, etc.
Someday being as soon as someone buys my Impulse, the hunt for a good base bike is on!

I remember reading some of your posts on this cool little bike! Never knew what happened to it...I assume you sold it when you moved back to the US? I don’t remember reading that you were shipping it back...
EDIT - I completely missed your line saying it was too new to import, pardon my blindness!

Yup, despite looking all classic and cool, the bike is actually a 1997 model. I’m sure being under 50cc there was some loophole I could have exploited, but I always wanted this bike with a bigger engine. So I brought everything back except the frame (and the Moiwaki pipes -those got sold, I brought back the original pipes though). I even brought back the engine even though I have no intention of installing it on anyhting, it just just felt a shame to get rid of the smallest production DOHC engine in the World.
All the pieces are sitting up in the hangar waiting for me to get a good donor bike to start work on. The seat will need some restoration and I’ll need some new tires, but other than that everything is in pretty good shape. I can’t wait to get back onto two wheels!

I always dreamed of having a Dream when I rode. I still wouldn’t mind having one, even if I wouldn’t ride it that much.

Good luck! I’m not a bike guy at all, really, but I have a thing for quirky and weird, so I DO have a love for scooters. Wouldn’t mind getting my bike license sometime and a 125 or 150cc scooter to putter around on. Probably a Piaggio or Vespa as I love the styling. I also like some of Kymco’s stuff too, but there are next to no dealers in my area. I wouldn’t mind Japanese, but there aren’t many Japanese scooters sold here and none of them have the classic-type styling I like!
I could always import a Piaggio Ape as well! :P
